Sono Bello Body Contour Center - Portland

I am soooooo happy to finally have bitten the bullet and had my procedure done after talking about it for 10 years! I lost 100 pounds on my own and had the last nagging belly and hip fat that no matter what I did, I couldn't get rid of and Sonobello got it for me! I am one week post-procedure and the results are already noticeable and only going to get better from here! I highly recommend that if you are considering it, DO IT! And Sonobello staff is amazing from consult to follow up appointments! Dr. Malin is a very competent doctor with a wonderful bedside manner! All the nurses that work with him are also fantastic at making you feel comfortable and are very knowledgeable! more

From the moment that I walked into Sono Bello I was comfortable and felt I was treated as an appreciated client. I never felt I was being pressured into having things done. I was just given the information I needed to make an informed decision for myself. A couple days before procedure day I met with Dr. Saxon to discuss what he would be doing. Right away I was very comfortable with him (which is rare for me and male Drs.) On procedure day I felt very safe being taken care of by Sarah as she prepped me for surgery. With her and Dr. Saxon, and knew I was in good and safe hands. I do not remember much about having the surgery done because of medication and personally, this was a good thing in my opinion. Everyone through every step of my treatment have been so amazing and welcoming and kept me at ease, which I appreciate very much. At my "week one" follow-up, they were very pleased and said everything was looking really good, which I would have to agree. Beside being sore for a while, I feel that I have had very little "down time" and have been able to resume my usual activities. I have to say I am pleased with the results so far and know things will only get better as time goes on. Thank you Sono Bello for helping me to feel better about myself. more

My experience at Sono Bello in Portland was great! I met with Shab for my consultation, she was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. I had read a lot of other reviews that said that there were "sleazy or shady sales tactics" but I didn't experience that at all. We talked about my financial situation and I was able to go home and think about it for a few days with no pushy-ness. After I decided I was ready I had my Pre Op with Dr. Sobel and Liz, they both made me feel very comfortable and explained the process. On the day of my surgery I was pretty nervous but the lovely nurse was able to talk to me and keep me calm. My procedure only took one hour and I was on my way home. I took pain meds for 1 1/2 days and then nothing after that and back to work after 3 days. The healing process has been fairly easy. I had my upper abs, lower abs and hips treated. more

I had an all around fantastic experience, from the facility to the staff, nurses and Doctor. The down time was minimal and the results are amazing. I was finally able to change my shape that diet and exercise wasn't doing for me and believe me I tried everything! I wish I would of done it sooner. Go you won't be disappointed! more

I had a very positive experience. The doctor went over what and how the procedure would be done. I felt very confident in his knowledge and expertise. Sarah his nurse made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She went above and beyond her care and I appreciated her so much. She was friendly and caring. I would recommend Sono Bello to anyone. My follow up appointment with Kim was pleasant and I appreciated her show the before and after pics to show me the difference in a short time. Can't wait for the 6 month appt. Fantastic experience from start to finish. The consult was a smooth process, all information was provided in an easy to understand manner, the doctor did a great job of making me feel comfortable and confident with the procedure, and the nurses were all extremely friendly throughout the process. Everyone at Sonobello made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Everything was explained thoroughly and I knew if I had any questions, I would be able to call and get an answer. The day of the procedure I was very nervous but they made sure to put me at ease. The procedure itself had very minimal discomfort and the pain after was easily controlled. I had venus freeze treatments at SonoBello Portland, I am very excited to say that although I did not have surgery I have great results. I did not have much fat but ever since I had children, I had some loose skin on my belly that I could never get rid of. There was not a lot of skin so I did not want to undergo a huge surgical procedure, like a tummy tuck. My skin is firmer and more tone then it has been in years. The treatment felt like a massage and I was able to drive home and get right back to my regular routine. more

The staff is very friendly. One of the best patient experiences I've ever had. Sarah was my nurse and she went out of her way to make my procedure very comfortable. Sarah came in before her shift was to start just so I was more at ease during my procedure ( I was very nervous). She was simply the best. Dr. Mallin who did my procedure was very good at explaining the procedure and about how long it would take. I appreciated the fact that he told me what to expect and didn't sugar coat it. Everyone has been exceptionally kind and caring as I have gone through my experience. Every time I called with a question someone was there with the answers and comforting bedside manner. No question was ever stupid! I feel that having liposuction instead of other contouring methods will make me value the experience more and take better care of my body! more

They wanted to know what you wanted. Then there was a discussion as to what procedures would be needed to achieve that desire. Nothing extra was suggested or promoted. From the consultant/sales representative was an honest evaluation as what could or could not be achieved. It helped that most of them had also had procedures done. I met the doctor and one of the assistants before the procedure for a further discussion. There was plenty of time to ask questions. After follow-up was great. It felt like real concern. This has only been2 weeks but I can see definite improvements in y love handle/muffin top area despite some swelling. more

From the consultation to the procedure , the staff was absolutely wonderful and honest. I had Dr. Sobel do it and he was amazing. My biggest fear was that I didn't want to feel pain during the procedure and wanted to look proportionately correct. I honestly don't remember being in pain. I was back to work after four days, a little puffy, but the pain was managed by Aleve. I'm aware that the results are now up to me, diet and exercise . I'm now two weeks post surgery and the swelling is starting to subside. Best decision I made was taking the leap.
