Sonny's Real Pit Bar B-Q is the best barbeque in Sebring FL! A Big Deal (sandwich, sidekick and a drink starting at 6.99. ) what a value. I spoke with the kitchen manager, He stated they cook fresh two times a day. The majority of the food is shipped in fresh and goes right into the back smoker, They cook with oak. Ask for a tour of the kitchen. The staff is very friendly. I talked to one of the waitress and she said there has been a few turnovers in staff to better the restrauant, Definately recomend Sonnys in Sebring. Kids eat free on Wednesdays with a adult purchase. One child per adult. Also one trip to the #1 Salad bar in the county on Wednesdays and Saturdays for 1.99 with an entree. Wednesdays and Saturdays are also Chicken and Dumpling soup day. more

We really like barbecue and have often eaten at the Sonny's in Haines City, Florida. Last night we decided to try (for the second time) the Sonny's in Sebring, Florida. BIG MISTAKE! The waitress, Sandy, was unfriendly, rude, slow and downright dumb. When she brought us our order, the fries were cold, the meat was dry, the cole slaw had NO dressing on it when we finally got it and the green beans were mushy. She made no apologies for any of her inadequacies. The whole experience was a disaster and we will NEVER go there again. more
