We've tried a couple of other BBQ places in Athens but none of the others are in the same class when it comes to tender fall off the bone ribs. And the mac & cheese is just like grandma's. The portions are fair for the price and they have free kids meals for kids under 3. This place is family friendly and easy on the family budget as well. Pros: The Sweet Ribs are so tender they fall off the bone Cons: Gotta be there early on Sunday to get a table more

sonny's is our favorite bbq resturaunt hands down the service is always excellent, and the food is the best!!!!!!!! your always made to feel right at home when dining there. the staff treats you with respect just like family Pros: best bbq in town Cons: can"t get enough more

Best Bbq Ribs in town! 10/20/2009

Not to fancy, great service and Ribs that "fall off the bone". I felt right at home. Nice being able to watch the game while eating. Pros: Excellent service and great all you can eat ribs. Cons: Pretty sure I gained a little weight. more

awesome place to dine with my family 10/10/2009

My family and I love Sonny's in Bogart Ga. we frequent at that location regularly. the entire staff is always pleasant, and eager to make sure we enjoy our meal. This is just an ok place - not good and not bad. The feel of the place is low class but they do cater if you want a bog pic nic or family reunion. Also, they have coupons in the Sunday paper from time to time. more
