Sonny's Bar-B-Q

Since Sonny's BBQ in statesboro has been taken over by the new owners the place has gotten so much better! I go their all the time and if i ever have anything go wrong they fix it fast and with no hassel! more

Sonny's BBQ in Statesboro is absolutely awful! If I had never eaten at one before I ate at this one, I'd never eat there again! Their service sucks, their food is dry and nasty (and sometimes) and their portions are crap. If you've had a bad experience at this one, I urge you to try another one! The one in Jacksonville, FL is amazing as is the one in Mobile, AL but the Sonny's in Statesboro is a sorry excuse for a Sonny's and gives it a bad name! The only thing I recommend buying from there is the BBQ sauces and that's only because they can't screw those up since they're bottled! We originally went there when they first opened and then we gave them a second chance about a year ago and it was STILL awful, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone! more

Sonny's has the best Bar B Q and sweet tea anywhere. They have great all you can eat rib and chicken specials for the men. They have a great lunch menu at very reasonable prices. At your table you have a choice of 4 different specialty bar b q sauces, my favorite is the sweet! Give them a try! more
