how about stay open after 10pm! what the hell? its summer and you close at 10pm. you should be open til 12am throughout the year anyway. plus, your employees seem annoyed when you come in at 9:45pm. do you close that early cause you employees want to go home? think about the customers! more

Island Fire Burger 7/2/2008

I went to Sonic in Willow Park, Tx yesterday and ordered a Island Fire Burger and as always I ordered NO lettuce and pickles. This was the BEST burger ever, it was fresh and piping hot and just as I ordered it. more

A very good and fun place to eat at! 10/11/2006

In Florida there are Sonic Drive-ins everywhere. And that is where I first ate at one. So when I got home and saw the one in Spokane I was so excited. The food is very good and you get nice size proportions. The service isn't as good as down in FL but I like that they skate your food out to you. The beverages are much better than other fast food places. There are lots of choices. It is also fun to eat in your car and just pull in and order. Kids always love it. And the Wacky Packs are so much fun (even for older kids!) I have never had a big problem at Sonic. So I would defiantly recommend you try it out. Pros: Food, quaintness of the place Cons: Service more

Bad attitude and what is a Chocolate Coke anyway??? 7/18/2006

Oh PUHLEASE! We pulled up, couldn't figure out how to get food ordered. The gal couldn't hear us on the speaker when we ordered and of course they had rock n' roll music blasting through speakers. She FINALLY brought our food, said something about a Chocolate Coke. We said CHOCOLATE COKE? What's that? I ordred Classic Coke! The food was very MEDIOCRE, and bad service with an attitude. Then after we ordered, they told us the little debit/credit card machines next to our car didn't work and we didn't have enough cash to pay them. So I said it would have been nice to know that BEFORE ORDERING. So the waitress tells me if I want to use my debit card, I had to give her my PIN NUMBER so she could run it inside, because customers weren't allowed inside! I'm like... you want me to give you my pin number? That is SO NOT HAPPENING!! I asked to speak to the manager. Told the manager how lousy their service was, and what's up with the debit card machines not working, and that Chocolate Coke thing? And they expect customers to just hand out their pin numbers for their debit cards? How lame is that! End result is the manager gave us our lunch for free. My friend Mr. C was simply ELATED about that (el cheapo) but I informed him that we (or should I say I) EARNED that lunch with all the aggravation just trying to order lunch. And of course he didn't say a thing!! (MEN!!) And while parked and eating our lunch, there was a constant stream of traffic going through the alley way next to the restaurant. All staring at us and blowing car fumes around. Not too pleasant. I'll stick with Wendy's. The food at WENDY'S is good, you actually get lettuce and tomato on your burger, it's cheaper and you don't have to go to China and back trying to figure out how to get a Classic Coke and not a Chocolate Coke (whatever that is). Wendy's here I come!!!! The upside of that fiasco was that my friend had a great time talking about it in the office all afternoon! Cons: No customers allowed inside, speakers are bad, loud more

Avoid every day at any hour, hype doesn't seem worth it 7/1/2006

Sonic Burger has taken away local business and forced long traffic waits on the busiest, most frequently used street in town. Pressured by friends to try the new burger joint, I was seriously dissapointed when we were refused a drive up station and then told the kitchen was out of cheese! The food was no better than any other fast food place, and neither were the prices. Pros: relatively speedy Cons: service more

Excellent food, old-fashioned feel 6/7/2006

Sonic is a great throw-back to a bygone era. It's retro. It's kitschy. And, it's a high-end burger joint that offers a quality menu. more
