Sonamatic quoted me a price for my repair, when I picked up my car, the cost was $100 more than their quote! Not very honest, and they didn't call to tell me what the final cost ...

saved us thousands on transmission repair 4/3/2012

Had a great experience with this business, was told by another shop that I needed a new transmission, I choose to get a second opinion and Sonamatic Auto Center told us they could fix my transmission that it was only a minor repair. They have my business from now on, they saved our family over a thousand dollars on repairs. They also provide me with a ride home so that I did have to spend my day waiting for the work to be fininshed and picked us up when the work was done at no charge. Pros: null Cons: null more

Not the quoted price! 3/10/2012

Sonamatic quoted me a price for my repair, when I picked up my car, the cost was $100 more than their quote! Not very honest, and they didn't call to tell me what the final cost was. Very disappointed, and will no longer have them service my vehicles. Pros: null Cons: null more

BEWARE! UNBELIEVABLY BAD SERVICE! 9/23/2011

BEWARE! Unbeliveably horrible service! I went in for an estimate to repair an emissions problems on my car. Without mentioning that there's a charge for simply looking at the car they charged me $88.50 without doing any actual work! When I got back to the shop I checked for a sign that said minimum charge or if a minimum fee was listed on the paperwork I signed. There was no notice anywhere. Then they told me that it would cost nearly $1000 to replace the catalytic convertor. I checked online and the original equipment replacement costs only $74! They claimed that they HAD to buy theirs through the dealership and that their COST was $900! Unbelieveable lies! Unbelievable ripoff! If you're smart you'll NEVER be dumb enough to put your car in the hands of these crooks. BEWARE! more
