Take in a photo of a fabulous dress from a favorite magazine, or simply describe what you're dreaming of - and they can adapt it for you perfectly. Understand that you are building a relationship with the dress maker - invest yourself and they will invest themselves. I cannot say enough of the talent and genuine love that went into the dress they designed for me. It was amazing - and everyone from friends, to the company that later preserved it - to the photographer who won an award for a photo of the dress - volunteered high praise. They understand: It isn't only about creating a dress - its about designing for the person who will be in the dress.
