Growing up with an Hispanic Mom who makes the best Tex-Mex Food around, (nothing is better than home-cooking!) I was skeptical when my Dad said he had found a place that rivaled my Mom's cooking. I was especially leery when I saw the restaurant for the first time....talk about your "hole-in-the-wall!!" But, if you are lucky enough to get past the decor are you in for a treat! Tex-Mex food that your mama will enjoy. Not only enjoy, but marvel at when she gets the bill. A huge plate of three enchiladas, rice and beans (with an order of flour tortillas) is $5.25. Breakfast tacos are available all day (unlike some places in town who stop serving them as lunch approaches) and are extremely reasonably priced as well. I also recommend you try their mexican fruit drinks...liquados...yum!
