So many outdoor attractions seem to be only nice on a sunny day but this is one I would recommend going to when its a little drizzly out. This hot spring resort located in the olympic mountains is a great place to relax with friends on a lazy day. True you many have to drive forever to get there and back but once you are in the hot springs pool it is totally worth it. They have cabins and camping located nearby if you want to make a weekend out of it. Its also located near hiking adventures so it makes the perfect stop on the way home from a long hike. There are multiple pools, many shallow for just laying around in the hot water, but if you are more adventurous or manage to make it on a sunny day there is also a regular pool for lap swimming. Water is hot be sure to hydrate.
Pros: hot springs, wilderness
Cons: off the beaten path
