I have been a faithful customer of Sok Nails for 4 years. Prior to coming to Sok Nails, I did my nails at many of these Asian nail factories. However, one day I was traveling and needed to have my nails done on a Sunday, and of course my nail salon at the time was closed on Sundays. So I was driving around and noticed the open sign at Sok Nails. From the minute I entered the doors, everyone was so kind, willing to serve me to my highest content. From that day back in July 2005, I have never left. I appreciate the level of professionalism, and customer relations that this staff strives to deliver on a daily basis. Their level of knowledge of the nail bed is truly amazing. To Sean, Sok, Carolina, and Maggie-Thanks for making me a part of the Sok Family. I have been a faithful customer for close to 3 years. I can say that I have never had bad service. My manis last on average 2 weeks with out any polish chipping. I feel like I am with family joking and playing around with the crew theres; Sok, Sean, Maggie and Carolina. There real good on keeping up the lastest trends keeping all the new collections in stock and all the lasted designs are available. Truly and awesome place . Don't waste your time on nail factorys you know the place were they don't take appointments and rush with you and never get to know you. At Sok Nails they work by appoinment a major, major plus and take there time with you to make sure you happy with your mani-pedi.Almost forgot as a steady customer they keep your own pedicure emplements for you in your own personalized kit. Great selection of colors that are always up-to-date with the seasons, a friendly staff who are always cheerful and talkative, and a very unique method for applying French polish that makes it last over 7 days without chipping...seriously! Conveniently located near north Miami beach, Sok Nails offers their customers a warm and friendly environment in which to get your nails done just the way you want. The nail technicians take the time to get to know what their customers like, and are very honest about what they think will look good, even when you don't. Sean and his wife Sok go out of their way to make all their customers happy. The acrylic work that is done is amazing; Sean does exactly what you ask for and the results are fabulous. Well, perhaps I am the minority when I gave this place 3 stars. I walked in last weekend to get gels and a french, my friend did acrylics with french and a pedi. Maggie did her pedi WONDERFULLY. She is awesome at what she does, no doubt about it. However, Maggie has an attitude when she does your toes. My friend is Japanese-American and she jogs 5 miles a day every day so her toes have more callus than your regular toes. Maggie kept commenting on her callus and why she has so much of it. OK, Once was enough! But she kept on and on complaining how she has to remove so much callus. Maggie, I know my friend has a lot of callus but for you to keep complaining about it and embarrassing her for it was uncalled for! Sien is a nice guy, however, his gels & acrylics could use work. Don't get me wrong, I feel horrible for being honest but this is NOT the place to get gels or acrylics. They don't do as good as a job because it seems as if they weren't fully trained in gels/acrylics. I get my nails done twice a month and have had gels since I was 17, so I know what I'm talking about. Now, Amor Nails off of Ives Dairy Rd does the best gels/acrylics and french! Also, the way Sien and Sok do french manicures is kind of odd. They just splatter white nail polish then make the french tips with a brush dipped in acetone. Everyone has their way of doing frenches, but their french tips are NOT straight! Essentially, I just wish Maggie didn't have to embarrass my friend like that. If they have better training on acrylics/gels and french, they'd be a perfect salon! Pros: awesome pedi/mani Cons: they arent great at french or gel/acrylics more

With nail places up and down Biscayne Blvd. Sok Nails is a place that I swear by. Sean and Sok (the owners) really make you feel welcome. They stay open pretty late which helps me out since I work at FIU South. If they are busy they will take someone even after closing time...which is a great perk. I live by the Performing Arts Center and I still drive all the way down Biscayne to come to Sok Nails...it is worth it!!!!! more

Sok is so hilarious and sweet and her husband is really funny and knows everything about nails, always giving advice on what to do for your nails. Everything they do is perfect and I'm so glad this ""mom and pop"" nail salon is getting the great business it deserves. I go to other nail salons when I am not in Miami and I'll tell you what...nothing compares! Really sweet caring staff and they don't hike up their prices like most places due to high demand....you must go to Sok Nails! If you dont live in NMB (shame on you), it's definitely worth the drive...and I'm a picky one! Pros: most amazing nail salon ever Cons: nothing at all! more
