pump not working 4/11/2010

I purchased the tub in august 2009, works extremely well for our canadian climate. I actually bought my parents one as well as I was so satisfied. stored it for winter 2 months after purchase and just took it out and it keeps tripping. I called the company and they wont honnor the warranty despite its limited use. I think that they should stand behind the product they sell and 180 days is not enought. I am disappointed that I would have to spend $250 on the pump after spending $600 on the tub in August. I really dont mind paying something for replacement but really not sure if i want to sink another $$ into it more

Originally purchase at big lots, in 08 pump went out sent cord to company for new pump, it lasted for 1 1/2 years, once had to replace the hose which cost $6. there phone number is 732-356-3000 a new pump is $179.99 w/ 1 yr warranty more
