My boyfriend entered into a contract on June 4, 2011 with Jamie Perz, owner of Sod Creations to replace the sod of our front lawn. The contract had a starting date of the week of June 13, 2011. We paid $630.00 up front which was half of the contract amount. That week came and went. Sod Creations never showed up. There were several calls (always us calling him) in which we expressed worry, dismay and finally anger to the fact that Mr. Perz was not honoring the contract. The first couple of calls, Mr. Perz did call back, always apologizing and promising to be there the next day. This went on until June 23, 2011. Since then we have not heard from Sod Creations AT ALL. The address for Sod Creations has changed so apparently what this crook does is steal money, shut the business down, then re-open to steal money from more poor fools. We are filing a lawsuit for breach of contract, filed a complaint with the BBB and Angie's List. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY, unless you want to lose your money and go through the hassle of a lawsuit. Shame on us for not investigating this clown before entering into a contract and paying him 50% up front!
