The Skinny
Stand with your tips over the start of the men's downhill course at Snowbasin and you'll know the meaning of fear. No wonder skiing this run was listed as one of the top 50 things you must do once in your lifetime by National Geographic Adventure. At this venue, the men's and women's speed-skiing events will be second to none.
The Scene
With 3,200 acres of boarding/skiing, two new, super-high-tech gondolas, six speedy lifts and some of the sickest and least-traveled terrain in the Wasatch, this is a great place to be a few days after a storm. Snowbasin is also home to some of the most beautiful views in Utah, not to mention the nice long groomers, beautiful mid-mountain lodges and the best on-mountain cafeteria food this side of Sun Valley.
