This is one of the best visitors center I have ever seen.
It has dozens of books, pamphlets, maps, postcards and art of the local people in the area.
The Great Smoky Mountains is visible in the distance. The center is built on one of the prettiest sites in the area. In keeping with the flavor of the mountains, it is a large log structure high on a hill with a lot of property surrounding it. It is well used for Harvest Festivals and Old Timers Festivals throughout the year.
I highly recommend it for anyone on their way to the Smoky Mountains. Their map selection is excellent.
