My husband bought me a beautiful watch for Christmas. We live and work in smithville so we believe in supporting the shops. Big mistake with smithville jeweler. The watch stopped working three months later. The owner wouldn't exchange it, and I work there. He actually said "" nothing lasts forever"". So I still have a $165.00 watch that doesn't work. I think that's lousy. They should of made it right. more

Purchased a new setting for my wife's wedding ring. I am from out of town and two diamonds already fell out and not even a month old. Wanted me to send back in mail and pay for the shipping one way. My wife did not feel comfortable putting her ring vaued at $4,500 total. And they refused to pay for the ring to get fixed from my local jewelers. Beware!!!!! more
