What hospital doesn't issue pain meds after surgery? We had to BEG the nurse for pain meds after a double knee replacement surgery. It took 3 1/2hrs to receive them. Repeated allergies & other health conditions to nurse numerous times. Where was the patient chart? Nurse aides were more helpful & aware of needs. Dr. Seemed to not care when we asked for contact all day. Nurse practioner fortunately was there to help in the end. Reg nurse was out to lunch. more

Good ER experience 9/13/2009

My daughter was sent to this ER from the Detroit airport in severe pain. The staff were excellent. When she was to be released, the hospital Social Worker called the airline, confirmed her on the next flight and gave her a voucher for a taxi back to the airport. All on a Sunday. As the frightened parent in another city, this was much appreciated. Pros: Good service more

I was at the Airport and therefore automatically brought to this hospital. The ER was horrendous. They literally ended my life about a minute- then I was revived thanks to my mother arriving, not minute too soon, and yelling for help. STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU REALLY WANT TO DIE. HENIOUS TREATMENT. DEMAND THE AMULANCE TO DRIVE YOU SOMEWHERE ELSE. Pros: Leaving Alive Cons: Neglect, Negligence, Nightmare more
