I recently cracked a molar tooth and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Loddings office. I had cracked teeth before and ended up needed a crown which took several appointments to complete. At Dr Loddings he has this process where he can use a computer scanner instead of an impression and make the crown in one hour. It was great . He fixed my tooth and gave me a great crown that fits and looks great. Best thing was it was painless more

I recently had the pleasure to meet with Dr. Lodding and his team at Smile for Life Dental. I had been to several other dentists for an evaluation of my smile and what I could do to improve it. While I must say that all the dentists I consulted with were nice to me , I found at Smile for Life a dental home. Everyone from the receptionist to the assistants to Dr. Lodding himself listened and seemed to understand my situation. They built my treatment about what was best for me. I , like everyone was concerned with cost, but they worked with me to help fit the treatment into my budget. The time in the chair was made much easier by the massage therapist they have in their office. I feel so much better about my smile now and I can never thank them enough. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Lodding for over 25 years. I must say that my smile and my oral health would not be what it is today except for the thorough and detailed care that Dr. Lodding and his team have provided for me. He gave me back my smile when I was at a difficult point in my life and stood side by side with me to make sure that I was able to get the smile that I dreamed of. I wish that I would have found Dr. Lodding sooner. I wouldn't have had pain all those other times at the dentist. I know that if I would have found Dr. Lodding earlier, he could have saved many of my teeth and my mouth wouldn't have been in such bad shape. Save your money and your mouth - this guy is all about his California connections and the loser tv show - charged way too much and didn't even finish the work - I had 4 crowns put in - 2 broke and 2 fell out - he wouldn't fix the last one - real nice more

if i was asked to rate this doc on a scale from 1 to 10 i would say 11!! i was a patient of dr loddings for a few years before i decided to give me self the best present of all- a beautiful smile that i could show off with confidence! I couldn't be happier with my smile!! it completely exceeded my expectations. the office is located in elgin and im not going to lie, i hate having to come to elgin (kind of a gross city). but the office is in a fine part and is totally worth the trip!! if you are looking for a great dentist to remake your smile or just a great overall dentist i would most def recommend dr. lodding ! more

Dr. Lodding is an excellent dentist and an excellent man. For years and years I had the hugest fear of going to the dentist after a really bad experience when I was younger. A friend recommended Dr. Lodding when my daughter needed some teeth pulled. My daughter was so shook up about getting her teeth pulled, but Dr. Lodding calmed her with a majic trick and before she even knew he had began to pull out her teeth he was already finished. After watched how easy it was for her to get dental work done with Dr. Lodding I became a patient too, along with my husband and 2 other children. We all adore Dr. Lodding, Stephanie, Diane, and everyone at Smiles for Life Dental. I would highly recommend him any day!! ...He also is a well known cosmetic dentist and apparently was on Extreme Makeover and has numerous celebrity patients (Jenny McCarthy, James Young). When my husband and I get our 3 children through college, we will definitely be getting our smile makeovers! more
