Smak Parlour

I am in love with Smak Parlour. Hands down, best boutique (and I rarely have strong opinions like this). I always get so many compliments when I wear their threads! I look forward to getting dressed to show off their unique, creative designs. I tried to keep it a secret for so long, but everyone makes such a fuss when I wear their stuff, I thought its only fair to spread the word and let people in on my favorite place to be. I am blown away by this shop-- came in looking for a dress and left with the HOTTEST little number! It was absolutely adorable and fierce all at once! these girls are good! The dress needed to be taken in and they actually did the alterations on the premises right then and there... I left minutes later with a perfect fitting dress and they didn't even charge me to have the darts taken in. I don't know anywhere else where shopping is this painless!! I had so much fun at Smak Parlour! I bought the best tee shirt ever...it fits me great and has cool anchors on it!!! I can't believe those two girls design all the clothes. It's crazy. I love everything and can't wait to buy more. more

I live in NYC and come to Philly JUST to shop at Smak Parlour! I get compliments EVERY time I wear their clothes. I could never find really cool clothes anywhere until I found this amazing store. My friends are sooo jealous, always begging me to take them next time I make a Philly trip to Smak. Plus, love those Smak girls who design it all... worth the trip just to see them. this is truly the coolest shop I've ever seen. they make all of the clothing themselves and the style is amazing. I'm a really picky shopper and everytime I've been in, I think I've died and gone to heaven. It's so cool to get hip & unique clothing outside the cookie- cutter chain stores. when I go out of town to shop (I'm not from PA), the rule is to only buy what you cannot at home. After shopping stores in Seattle, San Francisco, and Chicago, to find something unique, stumbling onto Smak Palour was a breath of fresh air. It is truly has that unique quality I've been searching for. I was enamored the moment I stepped into the store. The clothes are well-made, and succeed in producing items with just the right amount of edge and playfulness. For a fairly great price, you can get wonderful pieces that very few, if anyone else, will have! The only (small) downside is, since they make most of their own clothes, sizes occassionally can be limited. The bottom line: I CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN TO PHILLY; JUST TO SHOP AT THIS STORE! There's no place on earth like Smak Parlour. All of the super cute clothing is designed in the back of the shop and you can actually watch the show going on behind the velvet curtains. Two of the cutest, sweetest girls you will ever meet are the designers behind all of the clothing and they make new things everyday! It's like a glittery dollhouse, like Barbie's dreamhouse; I love this boutique! Pros: prime location more
