Sluys bakery is located in downtown Poulsbo. Sluys is THE place to go if you really have a hankering for something sweet! This place offers an array of donuts as well pastries of all kinds. Sluys also offers international treats as well. They make the most delicious bread that you can find in local grocery stores. The atmosphere here is nothing less than tempting! more

This bakery is the best ever! Home of the famous Poulsbo Bread, the bakery is also well known for its wonderful customer service and other delicacies. My favorite is their Snickerdoodle cookies. They even will package up and ship your favorite items for you. I had them ship cookies (Snickerdoodle) to my husband when I was in Washington and he was in Florida. They are his favorites too. The cinnamon rolls are to die for and there are so many other things to choose from, cookies, breads, pastries, rolls, donuts, cakes, all fresh and delicious. The bakery is located in downtown Poulsbo on the main strip and there is often a line. If you haven't been to Sluy's yet you should really give it a try. I am currently located in Florida and would give anything to be able to go to Sluy's bakery and just indulge! more

Its reputation precedes this bakery! I've seen Poulsbo bread in local grocery stores and heard the place is great. It is. They have a beautifully tempting display window full of freshly baked goodies that one sees while strolling along the street. Once inside this bakery, there are endless choices to be made. Bread, cookies, pastries, cakes..yikes! Even espresso. :) The customer service has been great every time I've been here. And, they supply nice size samples. The prices are very reasonable, the aroma tantalizing, and the atmosphere has everyone smiling. more

Not only are the employees at Sluys the friendliest around, but you couldn't find a better tasting doughnut or pastry!!! I still remember the first time I tried one of their pastries...it was like a whole new world was opened up to my taste buds! Don't believe me? I DARE you to try one of their cream cheese filled cinnamon rolls!! They also happen to be located right downtown, so after shopping around all the cutesy shops, and you've worked up an appetite, stop in at Sluys! more
