Being a vegetarian, I usually avoid burger places, but this one made the grade. Located in downtown Kirkland along the marina, it offers great people watching and one heck of a view. The drinks and ambience (plastic tables & only a handful inside) leave much to be desired, but the quality burgers make up for it. The black bean burger was wonderful! Park in the marina or a few blocks East and enjoy a lovely walk. For an added treat, grab an ice-cream cone at the little ice-cream shop down below or walk one block South to Ben & Jerry's.
I think The Slip used to be called The Red Duck??? Or my memory might be fading ;)
