Silver Pond Gets a Silver Medal From Me 4/2/2006

The food at Silver Pond tastes good and is inexpensive. I like to order the noodle dishes there. My favorite one is the Seafood Chow Mein. Dim Sum very popular there so you want to get there early or plan or waiting for awhile. Service is good and the food usually comes out quickly if you eat there for dinner or lunch. There is a parking lot on site, but it is easy enough to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood if the lot is full. more

Very Good Chinese food 8/22/2005

This fairly large Chinese restaurant a short hop away from the hustle and bustle of Main Street is a delight to dine in. A good place to eat if you are visiting someone at the hospital - It is across the street from what was formerly Booth Memorial Hospital and is now New York Hospital of Queens. Recommended dishes include Beef with Chinese Broccoli, Roast Chicken, and Shrimp with Cashews. Stay away from Lemon Chicken which looks too much like Chicken McNuggets. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. more
