This little gem in Warwick is definitely off the beaten path. It is a unique place decorated with much creativity and love. The rooms are adorable, the hospitality is wonderful, and the food is delicious. It is the perfect place to spend a weekend tasting wines at the local wineries! Pros: Best breakfast in town Cons: Not within walking distance from town more

great place to get away 10/2/2009

great place to spend the weekend in Warwick. Very short drive to town for shops. Apple picking, wineries, antiques all very closeby. Peaceful and quiet nights, clean cozy rooms and friendly service all weekend. Plus a wonderful breakfast to wake up to each morning. I'd recommend to anyone. Pros: peaceful and quiet stay more

Two Birds; One Stone 6/19/2009

Peggy and John are great hosts. From the cozy lounge to the tasty breakfast and the luxurious Jacuzzi tub in our room, it was a comfortable and lovely visit. Plus, they also own Yesterdays in the village, where the beers are cold, the food is hot, and the desserts are out of this world! Pros: Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and flat screen TV in room Cons: need car to get to village more

Will be back 5/20/2009

On a recent trip to Warwick from South Carolina we had the pleasure of staying at the Sleepy Valley Inn. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. Service was above expectations. Most importantly was the home cooked breakfast the next day --it was to die for. Will make this place a destination next time in NY. Pros: Excellent Service more

Great Hospitality 5/17/2009

Peggy and John treated us very well. They where friendly and did everything possible to accomadate my family during this hard time. There resturant/bar has been a staple in Warwick for many years, and has a great atmosphere and equally great food. Great place for everyone 5/5/2009

We recently visited Warwick and stayed at the Sleepy Valley Inn. My husband and I had a great time!! The rooms were charming as well as romantic. It was such a pleasant surprise to find this gem nestled away in a beautiful little town. It was so wonderful that we are returning this summer with some friends Pros: Home made breakfast more

excellent bed and breakfast with superb service 4/9/2009

I rented this wonderful Bed and Breakfast for a weekend to work with some clients. The service was fantastic. The food was incredible. We were given the privacy we needed to do the work we needed to do. We also had the attention we needed down to the smallest detail. Peg went above and beyond to take great care of us. The rooms were clean. Each room had special details and flare. The property is a wooded oasis. We all felt we had been treated like royalty. I recommend this place to everyone. Sleepy Valley Inn Warwick, New York 3/6/2008

Not such a great looking place. It looks better on the website. So I was disappointed right off the bat. Upon further inspection of my room, my fiance found some rements of unwanted guests, (the kind with grey fur and little tails) in a drawer. I asked for a refund so we could stay at another inn in a near by town and the staff or owner was very rude and said I needed to cancel 24 hours in advance. She refused to refund me and told me the room would be properly cleaned. Needless to say we were forced to spend one night at this literal ""*at trap"" I would not recomend Sleepy Valley Inn in Warwick NY. Pros: I will never have to stay there again Cons: Having to share your room with unwelcome little furry four pawed friends. more
