While we've had good experiences with our dogs seeming okay once we picked them up, I have a couple of grievances with Sleepy Hollow.
1. The guy (ostensibly the paterfamilias) who works the counter is always gruff. When you tout this sort of Christian way of doing business, you expect at least a little kindness or warmth. Alas, every one of the dozen or so times we used them, he's been more like Oscar the Grouch than a guy who cares about your pet.
2. I'm not entirely sure how much our dogs saw play or got attention. Sure, this will be much less than at home, but one of our girls tore up her rather expensive bed (something she's NEVER done) without so much as a sorry for the aforementioned curmudgeon. Well, once this happened again (again with a rather pricey bed) we stopped going to Sleepy Hollow.
Great locale and great facilities, but I'm just not impressed with the service.
