My wife ordered about 20 Pounds of meat from this place including a $100 Turkey that was to be shipped and arrive frozen. They say that they ship ground in packaging that can hold your meat at temperatures below 40 degrees to keep it safe. When it arrived the meat was thawed and bloody, 50 degrees and rising. The turkeys breasts were frozen but its legs were completely thawed. This is the Friday before Thanksgiving and they did not deliver. They did credit our money but refused to ship us a new turkey overnight the Monday before Thanksgiving to save us from the inconvenience (thawing a frozen turkey all night before Thanksgiving) that they have already caused, the reasoning Carol at Slankers provided was that the shipping is too much, and they cannot ""buy"" customers. Not good service in my opinion, they may raise their animals humanely but they kill them in vein, 20 lbs of meat incorrectly packaged and ruined. I would not buy anything from this company. They are the reason businesses such as this cannot get hold of a market share.
