We took a school group to sky top lanes. We were not told that we should rotate lanes back and forth with our two lanes. We could not understand what was going on, and thought the computer was malfunctioning. We approached the desk, and the woman came over (manager). We asked for it to be corrected, and she blamed us for the problem. She implied and said outright that as teachers we should have been able to figure it out sooner. She did this all in front of the students in a very negative attitude. One teacher asked to see her in private, as to not discuss it in such a way in front of our students. She took offense to this request, not wanting to discuss it further. She walked away saying angrily and with sarcasm that the customer is always right. She refused to let us restart the game without a charge. We bowled the rest of the game, promptly went up to check out, and I said we would never come back due to her attitude and the fact that she had spoken inappropriately in front of the students. She claimed the first teacher had an attitude, and that we were in the wrong. I suggested that in this economy it was not good business practice to offend clients, who indeed had planned to come on a weekly basis. She did not care, refused our money, and told us to never come back again. The experience was disturbing to our students who could not understand why she had been so rude. We will take our business elsewhere from now on and spread the word of our poor experience.
