The Gatlinburg skylift is so fun. It takes you all the way up and down the mountain. It is such a beautiful view no matter what season it is! You can get off at the top and go into the little gift shop they have up there. Probably would not recomend if you are afraid of heights. more

You should do this once! 8/29/2005

The Skylift is a must-do for first-time visitors to the Smoky Mountains. You get an amazing aerial view of the town and the mountains with a little excitement to boot. Probably not something you'd want to do twice, but it's a lot of fun. It's not too expensive and the lift comes regularly. more

Fun 8/22/2005

It was a nice ride up and down the mountain. The scenery was beautiful. I was a little leary at first because a skylift stright up the mountain looks really scary. It was a little pricy, but it was fun. Be sure to grab you a drink before you get on, buecause when you get to the top you'll pay triple the price. more

Gatlinburg Sky Lift 8/20/2005

I was really nervous about this at first since I am terrified of heights but my friend convinced me to ride and I am so glad I did. It goes high but not so high that I felt like I was going to be in any danger. The views when you are up there are amazing. I felt like I was on top of the world- literally. I wanted to stay up there all day but obviously I couldn't. I recommend this for people of all ages. more

Not for those afraid of heights! Glide skyward over Gatlinburg and the Little Pigeon River on a 518-foot ascent to the top of Crockett Mountain. From the top, view an unforgettable panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains. Be sure to bring along a camera, you don't want to miss an opportunity like this! Come see what the Smoky Mountains are all about, it's breathtaking! more
