If you work for Sony, you'll most likely have discovered this quaint little sandwich shop with the super friendly couple that owns it and recognizes repeat customers. This place offers gourmet sandwiches and organic salads, and serves them up in perfect brown lunch bags. They have a wee little patio outside and a bar dining area inside, but most all all: come here for the tuna salad sandwich. YUm-O! Pros: Tuna Salad Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich Cons: Locationn easy to miss, but worth a stop once you discover it! more

  • This Culver City lunch favorite, formerly Skratch, is proving quote popular with Sony employees and other area professionals seeking a simple lunch or early dinner to go. Patrons love the ability to order any menu item (written on a chalkboard in the small, bright space) as a sandwich or salad. The "Nicoise," for example, comes as a brimming salad or compact sandwhich (with sustainable pole caught tuna, kalamata, cornichon tapenade, chopped egg, sliced radish, caperberry remoulade and a lemon mustard vinaigrette). Indoor tables are long and frequently shared with strangers, while outdoor tables are better for small groups. Soups are fantastic at Choppe Choppe, with the mushroom brie in particular a standout.
