Skinsations Spa

I first found out about Skinsations through a Groupon I purchased for my husband and myself. The ambiance is beautiful, very peaceful, quaint, and calming. They have a variety of beverages you can choose from while your waiting for your service. We both received a 30 minute hydro-bath and then a hour massage. My masseuse was Estelle, and she is amazing! I never had such a wonderful and relaxing massage before. I raved about Estelle so much to my husband, for Christmas he gave me a gift to get an hour massage from her. This is a wonderful place to come pamper yourself. The atmosphere is wonderful - intimate, quiet, relaxing and the staff is not only very professional but they treat you like a close friend. I've been coming here for 10+ years and truly enjoy every moment of my ME time. Check it out - you'll fall in love with the people and the place. more

I found this place through City search and I went with my girl friend; she LOVEs spa and had numbers of experience with different spa which include LV hotels. We both loved this place so much and my friend even stated that this place is one of the best spa she had ever been regarding service! This place was located as a part of a small plaza (not outstanding), yet, once i stepped inside, i totally fell in love with the interior environment. Interior space were all dimmed with nice soothing music...very quiet...and relaxing... All the staff works there were very nice and great impression. I started with foot bath. It felt good in the beginning...yet, honestly, they waited a little too long that the hot water was getting cold.. Next was the "Bath by Candlelight." I was so looking forward this moment since i saw the picture of the room. It was nice! but unfortunately i was a little disappointed that they didn't light the candles....they put only two of the dimmed wall light.... If they can give us the best service they can offer.... sad..due to bad economy...? And, I had a body massage for 50 min, great!! It was very relaxing!! Room was dimmed, quiet, soothing sound... The lady massaged me with very slow motion, which made me so relaxed! The pressure was perfect, too. I enjoyed Aroma therapy which was provided during her massage. Finally, THE FACIAL!! Oh my god.... that was THE BEST facial experience I've ever had!! Numbers of different aroma, warm stone therapy... whenever i remember the moment, makes me want to go back now!!! I decided that I would also get a massage and they put us in the couples area where I got to see her get a facial while I was getting the absolutely most perfect massage. I could not get over how impressive the attention to detail was during my whole experience with Skinsations, from the time I bought the Gift Card for my wife to the point my massage was complete and they had a relax room where I sat and listened to the graceful music as I took a 20 minute nap that seemed like forever. What truly made it all unique and special is the high level of service and expertise because the owner has every possible factor to make it a wonderful experience accounted for. I recently bought my wife her birthday gift...A gift card at Skinsations of course! Pros: The Best Masssage I have RECEIVED EVER! Cons: Absolutely no CONS more

I'm speechless! My friend has been trying to get me to try this place forever. I thought my place is great I don't need to try some where else. On a whim I went. First I thought this is quaint, not realizing what was beyond the "crystal" inlaid door! I had to check my passport to make sure I was still in the U.S. Did these employees go to Nice School? Everyone from the reception check-in, to the spa attendant who by the way placed my feet in an herbal foot bath but wait; dried them for me and placed my slippers back on. All after she handed me a hot hand towel and served me the beverage of my choice. When she left the tea room (yes, that's what it is called) I frantically searched for their spa menu to double check the prices. It was the most incredible spa experience. I loved the private changing rooms and hydrotherapy baths. I'm no prude but I don't like getting undressed in front of the whole town. My massage therapist did'nt miss a nook or cranny! The facial, are you kidding me! They basically did a facial on my whole upper body. I counted at least 5 things I pay extra for, oh sorry they call it ala carte; not here! I was still expecting to find my bill run amok when I checked out but nope! It was all included. I double checked if they made a mistake on at least the eye and lip treatments. Nope it was included. I have never experienced this concept before. You either get "the spa" that will indulge your inner spa diva with the spa diva price tag or you get the "spa wanna be" with I know it does not include the luxury BUT you get the affordable price for a basic massage or facial. I found "spa heaven" where you get all the luxury with all the "add ons" for a "I can afford this" price. I'll be back, this is my new home. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. It is about time someone came up with this idea. Pros: A much needed spa concept Cons: the best kept secret, why did'nt I know about this spa sooner? more

I have been here twice in the past two years, once for a facial and once for a massage. The massage was just okay, the facial was a lot better. I felt very rushed though and didn't quite relax as I had hoped to do. They fill up a basin for you to soak your feet while you wait, but the wait both times was only 5 mins, that wasn't very relaxing to me. Then as I finished and was paying for my facial, a bag full of the products in which they used on me was waiting at the counter (they did this while I got dressed I guess). The product prices were very high! I passed on the purchase and felt very rushed as mentioned earlier. Other spas I have visited in the past allow you to take advantage of just sitting and enjoying yourself before beign rushed off to the changing room, and then the cash register. more
