Great experience - Everyone we worked with was knowledgable and responsive. It's a big investment and Skinner gave us reassurance and peace of mind. Our pool turned out beautiful....

Worst

The plaster finish was smooth, but the surface was not even, varying by 1/2" or so when checked with a 5' straight-edge. In addition, the tile trim-strips they put in along the ed...

Great service 3/18/2011

I hate this area, bad memories. But they had the Tahoe I wanted and the price was better then anything I had seen advertised in my area of South Seattle. I went there, it was just as I was told it was. They worked to get a second key and fobs for me for free. I was ready to argue something..anything..but they just said ok and did it. more

Do not use Skinner Pool Plastering 4/6/2010

Dont hire them. They replastered my pool with white plaster and before it was filled the plaster was discolored gray with streaking. They are dishonest and will not stand by their work. Additionally, their price is cheaper probably because they take a huge short cut by water blasting and not removing all the plaster down to the gunite. Ask them about their process and there is little old plaster removed. After they plastered my pool it looks worse than my original 20 year old original pool plaster. You will be sorry if you use them. Email me and I can show you the horrible job they did on my pool. more

Unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude 10/29/2007

I almost had them replaster our pool. However, when they were scheduled to begin the work they suddenly discovered $1500 to $2000 in extra cost to do the job (despite having visited the site twice before). I am not a pool expert by any means, and for all I know the costs may have been reasonable. However, instead of explaining in detail why the steps were necessary, they gave a curt one line explanation. When I pressed for a more comprehensive exlpanation I was flately told to take my buisness elsewhere. I don't know about you, but defensiveness and secrecy do not inspire me with confidence in a contractor. more
