I have been going to the Skin Spa for many years and have always enjoyed all the services offered. One notable mention is the massages performed by the only male therapist there. He is the only person, in all my experiences, who can make my knots melt away without ever jabbing his elbows into my muscles like most female masseuses do. I feel incredible after he massages me. I would highly recommend trying him out if you want an amazing massage. He is above and beyond all the other female therapists there! more

I have been a regular at the Skin Spa for a long time and have always thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. My usuals are monthly facials and massages with occasionals of scrubs and wraps. The main draw for me is the massages that I receive from the only male massage therapist there at the spa. He is over and beyond the other female masseuses. He makes all the knots in my muscles melt away without jabbing his elbows into my body like most female masseuses would. I would highly recommend trying him out if you want an incredible massage! more

I went to Skin Spa in Encino two weeks ago and found their spa to be a nice place to spend the day. It went on and on with stuff to pick from. My girlfriend who brought me had been there many times with her boyfriend alway nothing but great things to say. Most places out there are just rooms with services, Skin Spa is a true day spa. more

I am not sure why the last person was not happy with Skin Spa. I just went there over Valentines day with weekend and they could not have been nicer, the spa could not have looked better and most of all the service was amazing. I can't say anything good about this spa. I can see why they don't have pictures in their website, lol! As my friend and I walked in, it was okay, but once we stepped inside the "spa" it was a joke! The niagra is just basically a shower. The patio is the size of my closet! This is was the worst experience ever. The service was bad, most spas the service speaks in a whisper tone to keep you relaxed, well not here. In fact, while getting my massage, there was people talking very loud in the hallway. The locker room is a restroom, the steam room is the size of a closet. It is seriously a joke. Might as well go to your gym ammenities. I would never recommend this as a relaxation event. Please take my critic seriously, I wouldn't want anybody to waste their money like I did. Pros: nothing Cons: everything about it more

Not only is Skin Spa amazing, they now offer childcare. Ina beatiful daycare next door, named babyspa. Such a great idea for hard working moms that need a couple of ours to be pampered. The area is very clean, entertaining, and the babysiters are great. The Spa treatment tookj away all my aches and pains. When I o back I want to bring a friend and our kids can have a playdate. Endless opportunities. Pros: Skin treatment and daycare Cons: i found none more

Their are spas all around town but this one is the bomb. They have so much going on that you want to stay all day. Room after room of fun and lots to do. The people are great, the servies are even better. I left feeling like a I had my nine lifes back. GO have fun for the day. I DID. Pros: So many services to pick from and the place was fun and clean Cons: Not your Burke Williams size but that is what I liked about it more

Been to other spas, but I highly recommend this one. Wonderful experience! Very Clean, quiet...the tranquility i experienced at this place was top notch. They offer waterfall rooms, where you sit under this watefall type showerhead (different water levels offered); there are also sauna rooms (ofcourse); jacuzzi; refreshments; and so much more. A service I highly recommend is the exfoliating scrub, which they do while you are lying down on a bed, which is waterproof ofcourse..then they rinse you down with a shower type of hose. AMAZING. This spa has everything. I love the outside spa deck, I love the water fall room, I love the sleep room. Ok I just love this spa. They have so many treatments it is like my birthday all year when I go. The staff is great too. I spen most Sundays on the back deck after my treatment reading the paper. You have to try it. I am an avid spa goer and really enjoy a good treatment. I experienced the Spa Sampler which had a body scrub, hour masssage, and an hour and a half massage. The massage was one of the best I've ever had. The facial left me glowing. The customer service was good too. Everyone was so nice and didn't rush me. Sometimes at other spas I feel like they're just pushing me through. The amenities are nice too, don't forget a swimsuit since most of it is coed. I'm bringing my boyfriend in a couple weeks to try one of their couple's packages. They have so many packages...I think I'm just going to have to try them all. Definitely my new favorite spa! Pros: awesome services, moderatley priced, not too crowded Cons: can't charge tip more

The Skin Spa is one of the few spa's around Los Angeles that actually specialize in couples treatments. A gift certificate from the skin spa is a great idea for a bridal shower. It is also good for celebrity sighting. more

Skin Spa in Encino Ca is one of my favorite spa in LA. Its 8k sq ft and has everthing from Couples treatments to a great out side spa deck. www.skinspa.com. I love to go on Sundays and sit on the deck with my boyfriend. PROS: Has zen sleep romm and outside spa deck. CONS: Locker room is smaller than I would like but then who spa in a locker room? more

Skin Spa Rocks. They offer an awesome variety of the traditional spa services - massage, facials, bodywork, but the amenities and couples packages are what makes it unique. Amenities include an outside cabana spa deck where you can drift off or order aspa lunch after your massage or facial. There is a Zen sleep room where you may rest after or before your treatment, the room has a sleep alcove for one or more and lush chairs to lounge in. And who could resist a trip to the World Famous Mud Bar whereeach mud has a different therapeutic affect. I purchsed the Endless Courtship, which is a designed for a couple, as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. It was the best massage I have ever had! They put you in a private room for the first 15 minutes and let you soak in a hot tub together then you each get a massage in the same room. I must admit, it was VERY pricy but worth it for a once a year splurge! more
