Skin Care Of Plano

I went to several Dermatologist and was put on several medications and was never given a diagnosis for my cracked and infected hands. I battled with sore hands for a year and a half. Dr. Polniak diagnosed me on site and put me on the correct treatment and my hands are healed almost 100% just a week later. Dr. Polniak is a straight shooter and will tell you like it is, so that you can heal. Highly Recommended!!! more

Very Abrasive. Doesn't listen to you at all. Wrong diagnosis, wrong treatment. I went for my acne and psoriasis. Her acne medication reacted to my face, the psoriasis medicine has made it really worse in last 2 months (it was very contained for past 20 months). She prescribed me a whole load of expensive medicines, by looking ta me from one feet away & within two minutes of meeting me. \r When I went back after the medications reacted (within two days of using theta medication), she had no idea what was happening, and refused to acknowledge it. Very rude, NOT knowledgeable in spite of her experience.\r Also, they charged me much more than allowed by my insurance(10 times more). Its been 4 months, they still haven't paid back. Is there a way to give a negative rating for a doctor? She has the worst bedside manner and is extremely abrasive. I went back to my family doctor who recommended her and told him of my experience. Apparently he had heard other horror stories about her as well. She seems knowledgable, but prepare to be abused by her if you go. I am surprised that she is able to maintain her job.
