Shila is the greatest. I have battled with acne for 5 years now and I started going to her almost a year ago. I had tried every acne product out there and was wanting results. The second I started getting acne facials from Shila, my face started showing drastic results! I'm so happy I decided to call up Shila and give her acne treatments a go. I am a regular now and also love her compact makeup. I would totally recommend giving her facials a go , whether you have acne or not! You'll become a regular like I have (: more

I have been receiving hydrafacials from Melissa for approximately 6 years. She is the absolute best. I have tried many, but Melissa tops the list. Very professional, but also extremely pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is always relaxing, and other clients I have encountered are always friendly as well. I recommend anyone who wants an enjoyable and relaxing experience to go to Shila's. more

I highly recommend Skin by Shila Spa. I've been going to Melissa for over a year and a half now and can't be happier with my skin. You can truly tell she cares about each of her clients and has never disappointed me. The skincare that they have for sell (PCA) is my favorite product and has transformed my skin. If you haven't been to the salon, go! Shila has excellent customer service and I love her peels! more

I've seeing Melissa at Skin by Shila for a few years now. I love their facility and I love their services even more. They have everything from waxing to facials to body wraps. It's easy to make an appointment and it's a great, relaxing atmosphere. I love coming here for a quick eyebrow wax or a facial. I went here recently and learned about a body wrap. I can't wait to try it. They just moved into a much larger location which is awesome. Conveniently located in Costa Mesa (which is right near my house in Newport). I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They're open 7 days a week and their customer service is awesome. more

Shila works miracles! 3/17/2014

I have been seeing Shila since 2004. She reversed the acne damage and discolaration on my face and fixed my skin so it's beautiful and balanced. Most people do not ever believe I had acne until I show them photos of myself before Shila. I swear by Shila and only let her touch my face and skin. She is a Godsend for those plagued with bad skin and sensitivity. If you want better skin then see Shila - she's the best in the business and will not do you wrong. :) more

Oh my god best place for facials. Been coming here for 6 month now and everytime I try something new. All of them have given great result my favorite was the hydra facial. What an amazing treatment. Shila is amazing . She is the most knowledgebal esthetican I have ever gone to. I got a "peel" and my skin looks absolutely amazing. I would not trust any "invasive" treatment (peels/microdermabraison/ etc) to anyone but her! more

Best Skin Ever! 1/4/2010

I have been receiving treatments from Shila for years! I have had horrible acne for over 10 years and once I started treatments with Shila my skin has made great come-backs. Shila knows everything there is to know about skin and never does anything to you that she does not try on herself first. I have a collection of medical problems and never once have I had a bad reaction from any of her treatments. I had tried a few different spas before and taken every type of medication that exists for acne only to have horrible scarring that looked like I was being hit in the face. Once Shia took over my skin I have had overwhelming changes to my skin and my self-esteem. The purple and black pigment marks started disappearing, the cysts started going down and then disappeared all together. Shila is worth every penny and then some. I recommend Shila to everyone I know! She is wonderful - a God send!!! Pros: Excellent knowledge, skills, equipment, and products Cons: None! more

First facial 11/9/2009

I was recommended to Lillie by the folks over at HBCOOL, and I had a great first-time with my facial. She was so good to me, as I felt at peace and restful. I think I dozed, actually. I have told others about Lillie and I am in the process of booking both my wife and myself for the holidys! Pros: Feeling so peaceful Cons: none that I know of more

Melissa has been doing my facials for a few years now, and my skin has never looked so good. I now have people complementing me on my skin. The setting at Shila's is so peaceful. I not only have found someone who does a great facial, I have also made a wonderful friend. She is very fastidious in her work, and it truly shows. I couldn't ask for a more pleasant and relaxing time for myself. more

Straight up review 6/8/2009

I met Shila at a Day Spa yrs. ago where she was formerly working for someone else & now she has her own Day Spa. Her personal services were above board then & they are now . Since 1984, I worked with some of the best in skin & hair care & once I experienced Shila's technique, I was for once & all hooked! She is professional, has a very clean set up, friendly & after her facials, she gives the best neck massages ever! I also was pleased that she did not push product on me nor did she rush me through my session. I like the fact that she also invests in her skin care services by having the latest and most up-to-date systems there is out there on the market. From the day I met her, I have not only found the best facialist, I found a great friend! People from my work now go to her & she does not gauge you with high price over rated products. She uses the best out there & never once did my face react adversely. The results were nothing but phenomenal and I challenge anyone who differs. Pros: Best services I've had since 1984 more

My Little Miracle Worker 5/8/2009

Shila has been taking care of my skin for almost 4 years now. I get facials, micropeels, waxing, and permanent make-up treatments - all by Shila. She completely transformed my skin and it's never looked more radiant. I get compliments from everyone. I've referred her to my cousins, my friends, and my sister. All who swear by her services too. Her level of expertise, experience, attention to detail, and her constant up-to-date knowledge of skincare and the new procedures and products that are out there is endless. She treats each and every client as an individual - taking care of each client's specific skincare needs. She cares about her work and who she treats and her level of professionalism is impeccable. She doesn't push products on anyone - she never has with me and she doesn't need to - and I challenge anyone who claims she does. I will continue to let Shila take care of my skin. And if for some reason she relocates - I will follow her. Because my skin has never looked better and I want it to look like this for a long time. I trust no one to treat my face but Shila. Fantastic Skin Care in a warm environment 5/5/2009

I started seeing Shila about 4 years ago for eyebrow treatments and have since evolved to facials, waxing, tinting, and any other service I can think of! I love the way my skin feels and looks when I leave her salon. Shila takes a great deal of personal interest in each of her clients and fine tunes each facial and product line to make their skin as beautiful as can be! The best is how even more beautiful you feel on the inside! I wouldn't let anyone else touch my skin! Pros: The best products with expert level skin care! more
