Editorial review from Citysearch 2/1/2017

Have been keeping our boat (not a Malibu) at this dealership for years in the winter. I have always had great winterization service and storage experiences. Not to mention the sales team there gave us a great help when buying a second boat, a pontoon. Highly recommend. more

Excellent Good Old Fashion Customer Service 10/8/2010

My husband has been going to Skiers PIer and buying Malibu Boats since he was a teenager. Ron, Joe, and the Skiers Pier team is excellent at delivering high quality boats and providing excellence in customer service. I was so impressed with our experience this summer, I wrote a blog post about it to publicly thank Ron, his staff, and Malibu Boats. You can read the post and see why I continue to buy Malibu Boats from Ron @ http://www.web-savvy-marketing.com/2010/08/malibu-boats-a-case-study-in-social-media-excellence/. more

Excellent! 10/8/2010

I realize everyone has their opinion, but I could not disagree more with js615. I am on my second Malibu Boat and my husband is on his third or fourth. Ron and the Skiers Pier team is excellent and I now believe Malibu Boats is as well. I was so impressed with their customer service this summer I wrote a blog entry to publicly thank them for their efforts. I mean every word I said. more

Waste of time 6/16/2010

Drove a long way to test drive 2 boats. We launched a used Supra 22 only to panic because there was no drain plug. The second boat was a Malibu that we drove for about 90 seconds and it died. Spent the next hour waiting to get towed in. OUT OF GAS. Here's the 2 things MOST boat people catch. I bought new Supra a few hours later after a flawless demo ride, and I showed up there unannounced. They did have a nice selection of boards and skis, but I just wanted out of there. more

great selections 8/1/2008

They have a great selection of things for all things boating/skiing/wakeboarding the problem is they're very expensive. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful which makes up for the high prices. more

Sleazy Salesman! There's a s****r born every minute, and Skiers Pier assumed I was one of them. 9/22/2007

I have been a boating enthusiast for most of my life and love to go to boat shows. As a matter of fact, the boat that we currently have is the 7th in our family. This weekend, my wife and I went to a boat show where Skiers Pier had an exhibit. When looking at one of their boats, a salesman approached us and used sales tactics that were worthy of a plaid-sports-coat-wearing used car salesman: Telling us that the boat we bought brand new last summer was in need of an upgrade, without even asking what model we had...telling us that we bought a second rate boat...showing visible disdain when we said that we were just looking and we already had a boat...using typical hard sell, fast talk sales tactics. Overall, I'd say that my impression of this dealer's sales staff is "sleazy" at best. The funny thing about walking around the dealer exhibits at the Metro Beach boat show was that we told EVERY dealer that approached us that we recently purchased a boat and we were looking just for fun. All of them cheerfully and respectfully invited us aboard their boats, clearly knowing that someday, we might just end-up being a customer. We were so put off by their sales approach that we will never consider buying a boat from this dealer. This was our first time speaking with them face to face, but I did inquire about a boat over the phone in the past; we were considering a boat from this dealer last summer, but they took weeks to follow-up when they promised that it would take days. Pros: they carry boats from reputable manufacturers. Cons: tried selling me a boat in the past and had poor follow-up, also use cliched high-pressure sales tactics. more
