Ski and Golf Outlet

They have a small selection, and the prices aren't out of the norm. Service leaves something to be desired. I do not think that there are any serious golfers among the staff, and their knowledge of golf equipment seems mediocre at best. I tried to get them to return a pair of shoes to Nike because they developed a leak after less than 1 year, and they had a 2 year waterproof warranty. I'm glad I kept the receipt, but when I took them to the store, I was actively dissuaded from trying to have them sent back to the manufacturer. They also claimed that I must have repeatedly kicked something, and were unaware of what normal golf shoe wear looks like on the right toe. I would expect as much from a store that didn't specialize in golf, but this store has golf in the name. I don't plan on going back to buy anything else. more

The Ski and Golf outlet is a great place for beginners to pick up equipment at reasonable prices (and by beginner, I mean anyone not touring). Exchanges only make outlet buying a little intimidating, but the company has been in business a long time now, and seems well established. Customer service is very good, and they seem to know their customers needs. If last years golf bag is good enough for you this year, this is a great place to shop. If you are buying a new bag every year, I wonder what you are doing with your bag! more
