Good: The staff are friendly, the music is typical, retro-style roller rink music, and the overall ambiance is very laid back. I've been taking my son there since he was 3, and the employees are always amazing with us. They'll tighten wheels, help you up after a spill, and they go out of their way to make it a place everyone can enjoy.
If you're looking for a snobbish, mall-like experience, look elsewhere... But if you want a cozy,down-to-earth hangout where all ages are welcome, this is the spot.. Improvements: The parking situation is a little less than perfect, and it can be difficult to access if you're coming in from North 48th.. Other: I really feel the need to address a comment made by a previous reviewer with regard to the staff. I don't know the owner from Adam, but comments like, "...is a lawyer so they think they can do whatever they want!" make me raise an eyebrow. Sounds like a personal vendetta. What, exactly, does the owners's occupation have to do with.... Ah, never mind.
Just go, enjoy yourself and make memories that'll last a lifetime.0.
