Sizzors Salon and Spa

I've not been going to this salon spa long but when I read some of the reviews I was astounded to say the least. I don't know much about what these reviews are about but every time I have been they have been great. One of my co-workers sent me in to see the owner Becky. I had the best consult maybe the only. She talked for a good 10 minutes about what I could do with my hair and how it would fit my lifestyle. She used a razor which I had never had was a little scary at first but looked great. She then taught me how to dry it when she was finished. I guess what I am saying try it for yourself. My grandma always told me bad news travels faster than good so thought I could pass the good word on. I'll go back and have already. I love the warm welcome you get there and the care. I ended up paying an extra $30 for my service because they didn't accept my Groupon from the app. Groupon gave me a refund when they couldn’t get a hold of anyone at Sizzors. The service was ok, if somewhat down-market (smashing earphones on my head when I sat down, using towels for a wrap that had pedicure refuse on them), but I won't be back because of they manage their business in a way that is misleading and according to Groupon, violated the merchant agreement they signed with them. more

Kirby and Beckie my family just wants to thank you for the wonderful care you took of all of us for our spa day. I know that 6 people is a lot for you to do but we had a great time. My mom and Mother-in-law had a great time and the lunch and desserts were over the top. I just had to tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves and the care you took in providing the utmost wonderful services. I can never repay you for hard work and the wonderful jobs you and your employees gave my family. I will recommend you to anyone in or near Lawrence. Belinda more

i just finished a day of beauty at the Sizzors Spa. I had received a Valentine Package from my husband. It was fantastic. I started out with a salt glow treatment and time in the steam room. Then it was to the massage. I've had many massages around the US and I can honestly say this was one of the best I've received. My only regret is I wish I had gone for the 90 minute massage instead of the 60 minute. After the massage, I had a pedicure and manicure. The pedicure throne was to die for. Then I received a wonderful, healthy lunch. I couldn't stop smiling! And I wasn't finished yet! On to a highlight and cut and style. I was extremely pleased with the results. Wait - I'm not done! Then I had my makeup expertly applied. The staff were very professional and made me feel right at home. It was evident they were well versed and up to date with their treatments. I cannot wait to do this again! I felt like a queen and was ready for dinner and drinks. I highly recommend this to all. We deserve it! Thanks to everyone at Sizzors - Jacque Doty. Wendy, To say you've not been in our salon to see it or meet our staff means absolutely nothing to myself or any future clients. (Maybe you have us confused with another salon). My name Sizzors Inc. has been our name for 15 plus years and have found it to be very effective to us for our college clients that move and come back to find us.Thank you for your concern in our image and our uneducated individuals here. If you consider myself an uneducated stylist/owner my salon has given me ample funding to raise my three children and put them all thru college. I must say I'm very offended to think someone would act and write such an untruthful thing. There is no one in this salon using fake ID's or names. As far of the reviews on our websites if I write them they have my name. It is evident your business is in desperate need of business if u are using fake id names to write your own reviews. I can tell u we all live in the same difficult times, but for you to bash unjustly other places in town is simply unethical and shows poor choices from your side. I never visited your place neither I would ever have the ambition to do so. The name "Sizzors" is so outdated as it is, and personally I hear you're just a group of uneducated and poor class individuals. You contribute to give hairstylists the poor quality image they have still today. There are some real artistic and beautiful people out there that perform hair services and are trying to change the concept of "Betty's beauty boxes" like yours. I wish you unattractive gossip queens what you deserve. Bless you after all....I'm sure there is some good in you too....maybe you should get out of your country outdated image and really try STYLE. when you walk in you can tell its a small business...not some chain. the girls there were very friendly and welcoming and i enjoyed having my hair and waxing done here! you should all come get waxed...they use hard wax and its WAY better than strip wax! and i didnt turn red!! loved it. totally coming back!
