Sizzor Shak Family Hair Ctr

I just had my first haircut at Sizzor Shak! My first impression was how beautiful the salon was, and how friendly everyone was. My haircutter was super sweet. I had been growing my hair out from a really bad cut, so was hesitant to go short, but didn't like it the way it was either. She never made me feel rushed, and she actually LISTENED to me, and had really good suggestions. I ended up with more of a shaping than cutting, and it made such a difference in the appearance. I also had my eyebrows done. I'd never had that type of service before, so was pretty hesitant about doing that. However, it turned out great, and I love my new brows! I'll definitely be getting that done here whenever I need to. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Sizzor Shak to anyone. I loved the experience, and look forward to my next visit. more

I am new to the area and absolutely hated leaving my long time stylist in my hometown. However, I called Sizzor Shak and requested a stylist who was experienced with long, thick hair. They booked me with Megan and got me in the very next day for cut and color. When I arrived, I was greated quite warmly by the staff and made to feel like I was a long time client rather than a new one. The salon was very bright, cheerful and clean. Megan took her time to consult with me about what I wanted and then offered recommendations which really personalized the experience. I got bangs cut in, some framing around the face, and long layers. My cut and color turned out amazing! I was very pleased and received lots of compliments on it! The pricing was very reasonable. more

When I was told to try out the Sizzor Shak for a good cut and color, I was slightly hesitant!! My response was, ""really?? shak??"" :) But I am SO glad I tried it out! It's staffed by wonderful people and the atmosphere is inviting, friendly, and fun!! I'm heading back today for a whole new look and am completely confident that I'll walk out happy! more
