Sixpence

I have been shopping at Sixpence since it opened. I go there for all of my gifts. The staff is always helpful in picking out the right size for the season. All of my gifts are wrapped; it is too easy! The prices are incredible.And, I always am able to find what I need. I have all boys, so I love being able to find sweet little john johns for under $35. Lovely clothing, good location and cute shop. Very rude sales clerk. Damaged sales items. Be very careful with your purchases as many of the items on the sale are damaged to the point where they cannot be worn, but they cannot be returned. I purchased a Christmas outfit on sale and realized afterward that it had been faded on one side by the sun. (The sale clothing had been placed outside in full sunlight.) When I returned to show the damage and ask for an exchange for store credit, I was treated rudely by the store clerk and denied reasonable service. One assumes when shopping at a quality children store that the items on sale meet the same retail standards as the rest of the merchandise, but that was not the case for me. I think for the most part they have started indicating damages on sales clothing since this happened to me, but I would caution you to examine your items very carefully before purchase as all sales items are final and regularly priced items must be returned within 14 days as they will not budge if you are a minute past.
