Wet n Wild Fun! 9/12/2005

Hurricane Harbor is definitely one of the top 10 water parks in Texas to cool off at! Although it doesnt have anything on Schlitterbahn...it is still Chock Full of Thrilling Rides. For people in the Metroplex this is our beach! I would suggest visiting during the week, like a Wed or Thurs, when the lines are short and the park is less crowded. Ice Coolers ARE ALLOWED in the park , so to avoid overpriced burgers, be sure to pack your own picnic style lunch. There are numerous pavillions and lounge chairs so arrive early stake out your "spot" and enjoy a fun day in the hot texas sun! more

Declining Park 8/16/2005

Hurricane Harbor, formerly Wet 'n' Wild, is no longer what it used to be. It is getting more expensive and they are not doing much to improve the park. It is a great getaway during the summer months, but it doesn't have the same value that it once had. It gets so crowded during the summer, and its so hot, that you have to wait forever to get onto a ride. Still some highlights include the lazy river and the wave pool and the black hole. But other than that, its not that great and there are other cheaper water parks now available. more

Fun time 6/21/2005

This is a fun place to take the family. There is so much to do. The lazy river is a blast and so relaxing. They have a ton of rides for all ages. ShotGun Falls is my favorite ride, you are up 40 feet and then water just gushes at you and there you go fast as every. Its such a blast, by the time your done playing on all the rides and water attractions you can sleep right on over at the Baymont Inn & Suites. more

good waterpark 6/15/2005

If you have kids, this is a great place to take them on a summer day. You can lounge while they run around and get wet. If you're an adult, the park can be fun, also, but you should go on a weekday to avoid the herds of screaming children. They have sand volleyball courts, which are fun. It seems relatively clean for a water park, also. more
