This place is a poor attempt to attract more visitors to this city and Six Flags. It's really lame and the lines are long. Definately not worth the money. If you have little kids ...

Don’t go in the summer unless you want to be surrounded by disgusting-smelling children, their faces smothered in drying ice cream and remnants of candy apples, their bodies hovering beneath your waist as they run circles around you, screaming, crying, yelling, demanding, expecting some sort of reward for their obnoxious behavior. best theme park in USA 7/30/2005

They say that Six Flags Magic Mountain is the best theme park in the U.S. they have the most rides then any theme park. they always have deal to get into the park. every year i buy a season pass to this awesome place. You really should check out Six Flags Magic Mountain. more

Great park for high thrill rides. 7/30/2005

If you're looking for a roller coaster park, this one is for you. The rides are huge, and innovative. Some of them are the biggest in the world. They're constantly expanding and add new rides almost every year. They're located right off of the 5 freeway, making it very convenient. Try to stay away in summer months though. During this time, temperatures can top 110 and the lines, as long as a 4 hour wait. Leave the kids at home, this park is for the big boys. Their food, and cleanliness do leave something to be desired. Stick to the new coasters, as the olds ones aren't well maintained. (They'll make your back and neck hurt, and give you a huge heacache.) Get dicount tickets at Ralphs for 1/2 price admission. more

One of the Best Theme Parks in the U.S. 7/29/2005

One thing you must visit and experience while you are in California is Six Flags Magic Mountain. They have the biggest and best roller coasters in the U.S. They even have a kids section so young children won't be left out on the fun. Everytime I go to Six Flags it is like a new time because the roller coasters vary in speed and size. They have tons of places to buy food there even though it may be on the expensive side. I really recommend going here if you feel like you need an adrenaline rush... more

Hoo-raaay!!! Magic Mountain! 7/28/2005

Magic Mountain is the best THRILL park in southern california. Now, if you're talking about a theme park, you have to go disneyland. Better for the kids. A little more magical. But if you want serious roller coasters, there is not alternative to magic mountain. cons: The lines suck in the summer. and in the winter they shut down a bunch of rides. And it's not as good as cedar point. more

Great time for all! 7/27/2005

Magic Mountain is a great place to spend the day. It's extremely hot there, so wear a hat and bring sunscreen. The lines tend ot be incredibly long and slow, so be prepared to wait a bit. The food is grossly expensive, but that's the norm for amusement parks so get over it or bring a sandwich! The rides and attractions are terrific - have fun! more

A busy park, with high thrill rides. 7/27/2005

Magic Mountain is your typical high thrills roller coaster park. It is not very well maintained. Their new rides are great, but their old rides leave something to be desired. Their food is expensive.They do offer more roller coasters than anyone else though. If you're just looking for thrills, it's a great park. But most of the rides have height restrictions, so leave the kids at home. Their is a small "kiddie land" but it won't entertain the kids the whole day. Use the "baby swap" if you'd like to ride big rides and trade with someone else. more

Thrill Rides Galore 7/25/2005

If you're looking just the maximum number of rides for your buck, it doesn't get any better than this in Southern California. Batman, Superman, Viper, Colossus, Psyclone, Deja Vu, Scream, etc. all fun times. The park is kind of big and the weather can be kind of hot around there so dress & prepare accordingly. Look for promotions to get a better deal- lots are available at local businesses, making this a good value. more

Great Park 6/21/2005

Six Flags Magic Mountain is the best park. It better than Knotts and Disneyland. I always depend on Six Flags Magic Mountain whenever I want to screen my lungs out. Now Six Flags also offer Ocean Discovery, which you can Touch and feed dolphins. It is a great idea because six flag is appealing to sea world fan. more

Very good 4/29/2005

Magic Mountain is very fun. You have to walk a lot and the park isnt laid out great, but the rides make up for it. The lines are long on weekends but that is os for mose amusement parks. It isnt good for little kids because the rides are big rollercoasters. But if you ever come to LA Magic Mountain is a must do. more
