Worst ever six flags park we have ever been to,we bought the 3 park package,six flags,safari,and hurricane harbor,we got screwded,on parking,they closed the park,took our money,gave a day pass for the next day,had to pay again,went to hurricane harbor,the whole park smelled like piss,and wanted our money back,were there only 34 minutes,went to guest services where there was a line so long for money back,and they said no refunds,not posted anywhere,including at the ticket counter,WORST THEME PARK EVER,STAY AWAY,ITS DISCUSTING,and smells like piss everywhere, more

Expensive but fun 10/23/2005

Looking to fill up an entire of day with excitement? Six Flags has roller coasters, shows, animals, a drive through zoo, water rides, a toddler ride section, food, etc. Actually there is an entire water park. You can pay for just that park. I called to find out if they had rides for my son who was 1.5 at the time. They said yes they have quite a few in the children's section. Children are admitted free under 2. Adult tickets are astronomical. Look for coupons in local stores or through ebay. Alternatively, the website discounts their tickets slightly if you order them ahead. While on their website you can find details about the rides and if they are currently working. You can also find out about food options. more

Great place to go 9/25/2005

This is one of the best amuzement parks in NJ and located in a nice place. They have rides and a area for animals with great games also. I like that the prices are cheap and you can by tickets for admission at anytime to use. The lines can be a little long to have, but overall its a great place. more

Excellent Amusement Park 8/20/2005

For both kids and adults, this place is simply amazing. It's been a staple in the tri-state area for excitement. More simply, you'll be here three times and still have fun every time. Always innovative and following popular trends, Six Flags Great Adventure is the place to be when you just want to have some fun with friends. Also if you're the adventurous type the safari is an experience in itself. As always, remember to pick up coupons on the Coca-Cola soda cans and at your local supermarket to bring down the admission price more
