Sisters Hair Braiding

Ive been going to Sisters for over a year now to get my dreads done and so far this is the longest i've seen my hair. they offer great advice on natural hair care and i wouldn't feel comfortable going to any other place to get it done. they are all very experienced at what they do its their lively hood and has been for years. and having established such a great relationship with them i'm always guaranteed a discount. LOL Ive even gotten some french lessons do i was there. the next time you need some braids hit them up and tell them Serah sent you. more

Please, Please STAY AWAY!!! Had two young girls working on my head at the same time which they didn't even understand english very well... wanted micro twist ended up with micro braids...... of course they offered a discount if i come back????? I THINK NOT......... READ THE HEADLINE...... more

I went here in December to get microbraids and I have only had my hair done less than a month and so many of my braids have come out. :( Three people were braiding in my hair. That was a mistake. My braids were and still are uneven. My appointment was at 8 a.m. and the girl was 15 minutes late and she still did not start braiding my hair right away.. \r \r I want to spare anyone the experience I had. I spoke with the owner and she said she would give me some of my money back and then I called her later the same day and she said she would not. \r \r I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. more

I went to this place to get my sew in weave removed. I told the lady the person who put it in braided in synthetic hair. I had my weave taken out at 5pm on a Wednesday. At 1:30pm Thursday I was at Supercuts because I thought I was going to have get my hair cut off because it was so tangled with the synthetic hair I could not comb it out. I loaded it with conditioner and still couldn't get it fixed. The lady at Supercuts worked on my hair for 5 hours before she was finally able to completely comb through it. Darra who removed my weave at Sisters did an AWFUL job of taking the braids out. Not only did she not comb out my hair as she unbraided it, she did not even fully take out the braids. This is what caused the synthetic hair to get tangled with my natural hair. This $25 lesson was well learned, you TRULY get what you pay for and ALWAYS look for a places license before you let them work on you. Pros: They don't have a license to operate as far as I could tell Cons: They don't know what they are doing more
