Another fabulous family night out! 2/28/2010

We celebrated my sister's birthday last night at Sintra's. It was the third time my family gathered for an event at this restaurant. There were nine of us and we were comfortably seated in the balcony area. The food was excellent...right till the last bite. Jenna and Merry (our waitresses) were so accomodating and efficient (not to mention, friendly)! Keep this restaurant in mind the next time you want to plan an event or celebration or just a quiet, romantic meal! Rumor has it that they will be opened for lunch soon! I am so happy to hear that! I love to go out to lunch on a day off with my daughters or my friends. Keep up the good work Brian (Owner)! You have a great venue right in the neighborhood! more

Great place to dine. 11/8/2009

We just had my daughter's wedding rehersal dinner there on Thursday night. What a fabulous meal we had and the wait staff was terriffic! I just love the ambiance and you can't beat the food! I can't wait to go back there. more

Solid Dinner Pick 5/8/2007

Sintra was cozy - but probably not for a large party. I have eaten here twice and both times the food was delicious. Recommended wine was also very good. I'd definitely go there again. more

Sintra - Real Fine Dining in Braintree 10/25/2006

I've eaten at all the great names in Boston and Sintra is comparable and closer. I truly enjoyed their tasting menu and the wine recommended was perfect. A cozy, dimly lit spot. Service was casual and had a few slow patches, but I never felt rushed or ignored. I'd go again and again and recommend it for a delicious evening out or even for a special or romantic occasion that won't leave you driving around all night. Parking behind the building. more

Best South of Boston 5/6/2005

Sintra is a cozy spot tucked between a couple of stores on Washington so it's easy to drive past. It was great to have such a unique menu without having to go into Boston. Is the perfect location for a date or a small group but too tiny for a large group. If you like red wine, I recommend the Castas de santar - Dao. more
