The first time I entered Sinbad Ranch, I felt as if I stepped back in time to my early childhood days. It reminded me of shopping with my grandmother in a little family-owned market in San Pedro when I was a little girl. I didn't want to leave. I love the smells of the varied spices from different continents -- so many choices! Being Greek-American, as I walked down every aisle I looked for Greek products, of which there are many -- even some I had forgotten about through the years. One of my favorites is a Greek jam that my grandmother used to make called ""glyko"". It's made from rose petals, or cherries, or watermelon rind, etc. They have several choices of those preserves, and they're high quality. Not quite as good as my ""yiayia's"", but they definitely bring back the childhood memories and well worth the minimal cost.
Pros: Ambience, Friendly Service, Fresh Meats, High Quality, Variety
