Sim's used to be a club of high standards for health, caring about its members, and cleanliness. The owner decided to replace all staff which made the club what it was--a facility where a member felt safe in the care of the trainers, where staff came to know you as ""family"", hence caring about you and your health. Members had a sense of camaraderie--and that was truly wonderful. If you were out sick for a period of time, you were called to find out what was wrong--if it was illness, some of your time was reinstated--without cost. Speaking of which, when you became a member, you were given a FREE evaluation of BP, heart rate, body mass, etc--good for the member as well as the club!! Now, you pay for everything!! You can no longer E-mail them as the site is gone--gee, I wonder if they were tired of getting negative feedback or are they ""cutting back"" on expenses. Where ever I go and mention Sims, people roll their eyes--the public is in the know--too bad--someone shot himself in the foot!!! Also, no one knows how to operate the equipment so questions go unanswered--someone will eventually get hurt--again, that will be too bad. Machines break and no one know how to fix them, let alone get them fixed by outside repairmen in a fair amount of time. I have been a member there since 2000--I am now a member of the YMCA--very happy there and feel SAFE in their care. My advice, JOIN THE YMCA!!!
Pros: none!
Cons: poorly trained staff, dirty facility, expensive
