Was sent to see Dr. Hirsch for nerve conducting tests. Front staff HORRIBLE! As w/any specialist Dr. Hirsch was running a little late, no big deal. However, his assistant was going to give me an exam to see if there was any nerve damage, I asked for her qualifications and training, she said that Dr. Hirsch had taught her, and that he would do it again. I politely asked that she not do an exam, and she was nice about it and said no problem. VERY NICE. Dr. Hirsch was and is very nice. Went back to Dr. Gurwitz, with the results, and he sent me for a 2nd opinion with Dr. Denno at Medical Dr. location, same office and group as Dr. Hirsch, and Dr. Gurwitz, same front office staff.... HORRIBLE! Dr. Denno was over an hour late, spent less than 5 mins. w/me before nurse came in and told him he was wanted in the conferance room. He said he was finished. Went there for a 2nd opinion, walked out of there with dr. Denno said it was up to my husband and myself as to what to do. VERY RUDE! Called Dr. Gurwitz's office at the Hardy Oak location, which btw I LOVE THE STAFF & DR. GURWITZ, and told them the way I was treated by Dr. Denno & his staff. Due to my experience, I would suggest NOT EVER GO TO DR. DENNO, for ANYTHING! I also didn't and don't like the fact that although they are in the same group, each time you see one of them, you have to fill out a new patient information, even though you've already see their partner and they have the same front office staff. I have let Dr. Gurwitz's office know how insulted I am and was that he would refer me to Dr. Denno for a second opinion due to the way I was treated by Dr. Denno and his staff. In all fairness, Dr. Gurwitz nurse told me that they've never had a complaint about Dr. Denno, so Dr. Gurwitz probably sent me there based on the fact that he'd never heard any complaints from any of his other patients... wonder if it's because patients are getting use to being treated like dirt by specialist, so they keep quiet?
