In ShortFounded in 1876 by the Tuscan Simi brothers, the winery weathered Prohibition by selling off the vineyards to save the existing wine and the winery. A grove of redwood trees was planted, and one of the first tasting rooms opened to mark Prohibition's end. The tour is among the best, going into great detail regarding wine making in general as well as Simi's own specific style.
