Simi Test Only Smog Ctr

Went there last year and the car passed the test ok, but the operator marked down that he heard a noise and didn't like the sound, also the spark advance was high. So he failed it. Took it somewhere else to have it ""fixed"". The noise was a small manifold leak and the spark advance was within limits. Was told by two other smog test places that the mani leak was not suvere enough to fail it either. Long story short and $300 later including $50 more for testing, were finally done. DON'T GO THERE! The operator is on an ego trip, at your expense. more

These guys are going to trick you to get your money. They are not honest. I wish I had checked here first before visiting this place. I mean 3 positive reviews on the same day but odd random user names with similar writing styles. How dishonest! more

I took my SUV in and my check engine just came on. I ask the guy if I should take the smog test or should I fix teh ""check engine light "" to my mecahnic. He said ""take the smog test"" so I ignorantly did , but he never told me that it was an automatic smog test fail. What a jerk, he should of told me that. He just wanted my money. What a rip off. \r I got my mechanic fix the light sensor and went back and another $10.outr of my pocket. This time it failed, something else when that same item passed 5 days ago. Go to the guys here on this list he said and come back and retest for another $59 then he said ok don't get mad I will do it for $40.whenits fixed. RIGHT... I will never go back to that lying cheat. I will go some palce where there are honest people. Be forwarned the guy is a talker..smooth shark operator keep your money in your wallet and go somewhere else. more

Simi Test only has the best customer service! They are very welcoming! There prices are awesome, the lowest ive seen in town. Its a very good deal and fast. I got a use my coupon and was Extremly Satisfied with the service! I would drive all the way out of the city to get my car smoged at their place.I totally recommend for everyone to go to Simi test only! more

this center is a ripoff. failed smog first time paid 39.95 which was a coupon price. Paid $2.00 transfer fee, paid $8.75 citerficate fee. Got car fixed went back to center, they charger another $10.00 plus now the transfer fee is $2.80, plus they wanted to charge certificate fee again. Passed everything except engine light. There isn't any engine light on. He purposely failed me. He was keeping my certificated saying I passed until I demanded it back. Don't go to these guys.
