New customer 5/22/2012

I am a new customer at Sylvia's and she was fantastic. So helpful & such great recommendations. I've seen reviews where it said she was mean and rude, I dont see that one bit. However, if you come in with a bad attitude I definitely don't think she will put up with it. I definitely plan on comin back! Thank you so much!!! more

Extremely rude owner and slow as a snail . She was to clean and alter 3 garments and they took an unreasonably amount of time. What a shame because i heard she is talented! more

The quality is good but BEWARE of the owner/manager! 12/16/2010

Good overall tailoring job ....however...the owner/manager is an extremely rude manager. Take your service elsewhere where your business will be appreciated! I've heard her talking badly about her "clients" when they walked out of the store...as I waited in line. Then when I dropped off my garment - she was not very nice. Then she called me a few days later to tell me what I had asked them to do wouldn't be possible and demanded in a very rude manner that I go pick up my dress immediately as "it was taking up too much room in her space and since I wouldn't be bringing her any business I might as well pick it up now"....I will never bring my business there again and neither should you. more

great place for alterations 10/3/2005

Silvia altered my wedding gown, and it was beautiful. SHe made sure it fit me properly, and showed me how to correctly bustle it. Other family members have had clothing altered there, and loved it. She is sweet and prompt with getting clothes back, and is willing to work hard to geta something done. more
