Our Family Birth Center is small but mighty, and with a sterling reputation unmatched in the Willamette Valley. In fact, we deliver twice the number of babies as any hospital twice our size in Oregon — surely a testament to the doctors, midwives, nurses and staff that make every day at Silverton Hospital someone's birthday.. We offer several natural delivery approaches that enable women to help direct their own care. Pain medications and epidural anesthesia are also available. The Family Birth Center includes a surgical suite for cesarean delivery.
In addition,Silverton Hospital is a part of Oregon Health & Science University's Telemedicine Network for pediatric specialty care. Telepeds is an innovative new technology that enables Silverton Hospital care providers to collaborate in real-time with pediatric intensivist or neonatologist from OHSU.
